Hi, I’m Rachel McCoy. I’m a Tennessee native and have been doing hair since 2003. I became a color educator in 2009 and a Board Certified Colorist in 2015. I live with my amazing husband, two wonderful kids, and two sweet rescue dogs.

We love to travel, try new foods, and spend time with our family and friends. 

We opened The Strand Salon in 2013 with the desire to have a planet-friendly salon that gives back to its stylists, clients, and the community. I love training others as well as continuing my own training and education so that I can provide my clients with the best options for their hair. I want every client leaving our salon to look and feel their absolute best!
